Overview
About Me
I grew up on a horse farm in Western New York. I've worked as a farmer, landscaper, bartender, restaurant manager and now a teacher. I love animals and the outdoors.... people are okay too :P
I love new experiences, meeting new people and having fun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Many of my friends use couchsurfing and recommended it to me. I've stayed in hostels, on floors, in barns, on park benches, with friends and strangers. I figured couchsurfing would be a good way to continue traveling and meet new people while I'm at it.
Interests
hiking, skiing, dirt bikes, music, sight seeing, sports, parties, fishing, bike rides, anything with wheels and a motor... and I love to climb things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any type of rock music, blues, punk, folk, rap, country, you name it.
Haruki Murakami is my favorite author.
Movies are great as long as there's popcorn.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
have fun everyday!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure what I have to teach other than help you ride a horse or maybe if you want to learn a few phrases in the local Japanese dialect. But I love to learn new things. I've played the drums in a few bands, and I enjoy jamming about with new people. I'd also really like to learn more about outdoor survival skills.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to share some fresh Aomori Apples grown right around the corner! I'm always good for a pint or two and a fun time.
Oh, and I like washing dishes. Really!
