Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
learn from others, make new friends, laugh, explore, and find my place in life
ABOUT ME
not quite sure how to describe me in this box. I eat food, sleep in places, use various modes of transportation to get from A to B. I like people and generally feel like they like me. Usually awkward, usually happy.
Got a Degree in Recreation and Tourism. I love the outdoors and being a part of making them last. About my favorite thing in the world is a delicious glass of water. And beer
PHILOSOPHY
still trying to figure it out. look for the good in people, light up the darkness and leave everyplace better than I find it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i am looking to meet people and talk, host and surf.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a few individuals before i was a registered member. I met two nice cs'ers in costa rica and had coffee. I have now surfed with several people and really enjoy the instant connection they gift to me in a new area.
Interests
i like food, cooking, hiking, folk music, jumprope, animals, bike rides, comfy shoes, and shampoo. I am interested in "fixing" things that i deem wrong with our world/ planet. if i have a garden, you can usually find me walking in it a few times a day. i love watching animals, all of them go about their lives.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- ALL. Anything with action, romance, special effects, historical accuracy, documentaries. Anything with Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt, Dustin Hoffman or Kevin Costner.
Music- still figuring that out. Love blue grass, folk, rock, blues, anything with a harmonica, fiddle, or piano.
Books- read a lot, can't really remember most of them. I enjoyed them though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After driving ten hours from st. louis to Denver, I helped a family on new years when they fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a guard rail. they were all ok, a little shaken so my dog and I gathered them up in my car and told them jokes as we waited for the police to come to the scene.
I once sat out a thunder storm in vedawoo and watched a tree get struck by lighting, resulting in a forest fire.
Teach, Learn, Share
All that I can with whoever will share or listen.
