My name is Sean. I am 23 years old and currently hitchhiking around America! My goal is to get to Seattle all the way from little ole Virginia.

I have always had wanderlust in my heart and right now is the first opportunity I've taken to exploit that feeling. So far I have met incredible people and I cannot wait to continue my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing so that I can get a safe place to crash when I am in big and unfamiliar cities. Once I get to where I am going and get my apartment, I plan on hosting as well to spread the love. I hope to go on several bicycle tours up and down the Pacific Coast and this should be a great place to meet other like-mind individuals.

Interests

I really enjoy reading and writing, as milquetoast as that may sound, but I really enjoy them. Other than going on hike and bike rides, I can probably be found at the local cinema catching the newest blockbuster. I have simple interests but they're never dull.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I create a fully function remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for an underwater competition, complete with a pneumatic claw!

I like to cook! I have a ton of stories about my life which would be great over a meal or a beer.
