I've been in Brooklyn, NY, my entire life. I'm currently in the old neighborhood until I muster up the courage to move to Jersey. Not much of a traveler but DC Couchcrash gave me the bug and I'm definitely going to do more exploring.

I was accidentally invited to a CS NYE party in 2013 and just never left. I was burned out by the community before the pandemic, and since we've rebuilt it post-Covid I've really jumped into it head first, not realizing how much I missed CS until I didn't have it anymore.

Now, I'm one of the main organizers in the NYC CS community, helping to run our weekly meetups since 2021-ish. I also organize a CS Halloween afterparty following the annual Village Halloween Parade, and I hosted an Ugly Sweater party in 2023 that I intend to bring back.

DC Embassy Crash 2024. I had no idea what I was in for when I jumped in my car and headed south, but I came back north with a completely different perspective on Couchsurfing and what the community needs to be.

Best weekend I've had in a long time. 10/10 definitely going back
