I've been in Brooklyn, NY, my entire life. I'm currently in the old neighborhood until I muster up the courage to move to Jersey. Slowly picking up the travel bug via Couch crashes. Been to DC's Embassy Crash in 2024 and Baltimore Invasion, LA's Angel City Crash, Sun Diego (San Diego), and Tijuana all in 2025. Now, I'm trying to switch coasts and move to LA.

I was accidentally invited to a CS NYE party in 2013 and just never left. I was burned out by the community before the pandemic, and since we've rebuilt it post-Covid I've really jumped into it head first, not realizing how much I missed CS until I didn't have it anymore.

If you've been to an NYC weekly meetup since 2022-ish, you've probably met me when I was helping to run the whole thing. I've taken several steps back and no longer organize events, but I'm still kicking around NYC and attending the meetup most weeks, so say hi if you see an old bald guy with a beer belly.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Angel City Crash '25 was the most incredible weekend of my life. Not only did I get on a plane for the first time in my life and check LA off my bucket list, but I met some of the most amazing people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I thought taking that first flight would be the hard part and that I'd be sick of LA and the people by the time the crash ended, but at 10:15 pm when I had a redeye home, I was still on the beach and they had to practically drag me off of it so I wouldn't miss my flight.

The LA CS community made going home the hard part, and the next time I go to LA I probably won't leave.

Update: went back to Cali for the San Diego crash, flew back to NYC, and just over 48 hours later hopped back on a plane on a whim to go to the Tijuana crash. What an absolutely wild month, from zero air travel miles to 18,000 in 30 days.
