I am a 25 year old Industrial Engineer from Cape Town. I have recently quit my job in order to explore our beautiful planet for an undetermined amount of time.

I love climbing up mountains and camping in the bush. Boardgames after dinner with family/friends. Sitting around a campfire drinking condensed milk out the can. Museums that provide a look into the past. Slow weekend strolls down city streets. Napping on the beach between chapters of a good book. Running around like a crazy person at a good music festival. Sleeping under the stars and late night dips in the ocean.
Above all of this I am always keen to share a cold beer or good bottle of wine over a sunset view!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined the couch surfing community a few years ago, however between finishing my degree and starting my career I was never active.
I have heard some great stories from fellow travelers and hope to meet new people and experience a more authentic side to my travel destinations.
Once I am settled into a new town/city I hope to be able to host.:) I also have a beautiful apartment in Cape Town (See pics) that is currently under renovation which I look forward to sharing with the community in future.

Mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, climbing, tennis, guitar, wine, coffee, good food and conversation to name a few.

In short I can switch between watching Rugby to listening to Bach in a heartbeat. One of the best things about traveling is that the more people you meet and the more places you see, the broader your field of interests becomes!
