Overview
About Me
I'm a nomadic software engineer who is looking for new adventures and friends. I love to travel, cook, eat, and I love my job. I work remotely so it allows me the privilege of travelling fairly often. I love to ski (water and snow). I grew up on a ranch so I'm rather handy and can fix just about anything. It is a good skill to have. I live in Downtown Sacramento and do not even own a car any more. I walk or ride my bicycle or motorcycle everywhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am tired of staying in hotels for they leave me feeling disconnected, especially big chain hotels. When I lived in India, I mostly stayed in peoples houses and that made a world of difference to my experiences there and now I seek that everywhere I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love live music. Rock, alternative, bad 80's pop, it doesn't really matter. I recently started back into reading fiction and I'm trying to figure out my favorites there now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Put a project into space on the space shuttle.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to travel and enjoy sharing my experiences as well as learning from others. I am always looking for a new adventure to shape and guide my life into the future.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a deep researcher with my career and have a love of problem solving. With that, and my great communication skills, I can talk on a wide variety of topics and am pretty good at conversations of all sorts. I love a good discourse and enjoy random discussions about any topic.
