About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To avoid the mundane, embrace adventure and finally find a comfortable hammock...
ABOUT ME
If brevity is the soul of wit, then I've been told that I make for a convincing halfwit. Currently wandering the world by way of its coastlines from one tropical paradise to another, all the while trying to make something close to a living.
Born with one foot in the water and the other one halfway there, I'm wedded to the sea but have been known to experience the occasional estrangement.
PHILOSOPHY
You've (probably) only got one shot at this, so why waste it?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Erm, with an open mind and well honed sense of tact and decorum?
V2: Understanding the couchsurfing ethos a little more now, I participate through involvement. Talking to my hosts and surfers, finding out about them, letting them know as much about me as possible. I don't have an awful lot of expertise but what I have I will share gladly.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted by some wonderful people on my way from Austin, TX to San Fran, CA in autumn 2012.
Repaying the favour with the occasional hosting on Tobacco Caye!
Interests
Geeky, nerdy things from Sci-fi to SCUBA diving. My attention wanders.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Whalewatching by pirogue in the mozambique channel.
Racing a pod of dolphins in a skiff.
Witnessing a whole reefs worth scatter at the sound of what we thought to be oncoming dolphins, but turned out to be a Bull Shark. Being the only things left on the reef not hiding, we recieved an uncomfortably long sizing-up...
