My friends would say I'm an easygoing, considerate, likeable kind of guy. I like to enjoy the moment, and look for greater truths in average experiences.

I love the outdoors...hiking, fishing, whatever. And I'm usually up for a good adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend of mine recently turned me on to this CouchSurfing idea (thanks, Tad!). It sounded like a lot of fun. And I was getting ready to take a trip, so I thought I'd give this a try!

Intereses

A few of my favorite things:

Being out in nature. Whether it's backpacking, hiking, fishing, hunting, swimming, stargazing, or whatever else, I am energized outdoors.

Spending time with friends. I have a great network of friends here, and I love spending an evening hanging out or having lunch on a Sunday afternoon.

Jesus. He has given me meaning and purpose like nothing else I have experienced.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hmmm...one was a particular meteor shower several years ago. I was on a camping trip, pretty far from all civilization. It was on a clear, crisp night at the height of the Perseid meteor shower. I got up in the middle of the night and found a large rock to lay on in the middle of a meadow. I lay on that rock for about an hour, I think, watching the shower. The sky was so clear and the shooting stars were so bright, the kind that seem to tear all the way from one horizon to the other. It was like a big show, just for me, and I felt so small as I watched it. That moment seemed to capture the enormity of it all, and my role in it.
