About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Starting of my gap life by travelling and volunteering around the world making friends wherever I go.

ABOUT ME

I'm an Australian, born in South Africa who lived in Botswana and spent their gap year in Spain and Europe.
I spent a year in South and North America with only Asia to go before I make my way to the poles to finish the lot.
I hope to become a global citizen by traveling and living across the rest of the world.

I'm constantly on the go and love to laugh and meet new people.

All in all "I want to be all used up when I die."

PHILOSOPHY

"Most of us choose to live like monks anyway, rooting ourselves to a home or a career and using the future as a kind of phony ritual that justifies the present."
-Rolf Potts, Author of Vagabonding

I hope to never fall into this trap and want to live every day as if it's my last, soaking it all in and trying to give back more than I've taken.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love CS and tell people about it to get them involved. I'm now hosting and looking forward to my next travels to do some more surfing.

Interests

When I'm alone I love touching fuzzy things, starring at walls and playing with my belly button.
But when I'm around others it would more likely be be an interest in new people and their cultures, sports, volunteering and just generally trying to learn something new each day in any shape or form.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any good travel and adventure books about people achieving amazing things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been extremely luck in being able to travel to around 40 countries although I will always regret not doing more.

During my gap year and start of my real travel addiction I got to go to Oktoberfest which was possibly the most memorable (although much was a haze) things I have ever done. A bit tentative, I went alone as an 18 year old straight out of school but was amazed at how friendly, exciting and open people were. Going there knowing no one, I came back being friends with everyone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've lived and traveled many places but know I want to do more. I believe in "Being the change you want to see in the world" - Nelson Mandela.
I believe we can learn something from every single person we meet, no matter where or when that may be.
I can share many embarrassing stories of myself and can also share my toothpaste with you if you're out.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Botswana, France, Germany, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, Zimbabwe
