Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
expose myself to positive randomness
ABOUT ME
I graduated from university in May 2010 and am now working as a fund analyst in Austin, TX. In my spare time I spend time/talk on the phone with my fiancee, lift weights, walk, study Korean, read books, blogs and magazines, hang out with friends, watch soccer
I live a pretty boring lifestyle, which is actually pretty fun for me. Sleep early, wake up early, work hard. Try to keep my self-discipline level high. I really want to do some big, good, important things someday...
PHILOSOPHY
Liberal in the classical sense.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately my landlord (always present at/near the apt complex) frowns on taking in guests. However, I am more than glad to assist surfers in Austin in other ways (grab a coffee/bite, advice, etc.). I am not very aware of the nightlife, bar, or live music scenes in Austin, sorry. I've heard they're great though ;-).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed and hung out with Couchsurfers in New York City (Spring 2009). Met up with some Couchsurfers in Seoul in Summer 2009.
Interests
Reading, economics, finance, cities and commerce, learning about businesses, soccer (playing and watching), weightlifting, playing basketball, pyschology/sociology, and learning Korean.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have seen people around me make lots of money through self-education and subsequent hard work. I find this very gratifying.
Teach, Learn, Share
If anyone wants to know how to be a good capital allocator as an executive of a public company, I can probably help you out. I can also teach you how to struggle mightily in speaking Korean. Not so good at more practical stuff like fixing or building things.
