CURRENT MISSION
Increase My Couch Karma
ABOUT ME
I've bounced around the USA a little bit, CT to CA to NM back to CA for now. I ride bikes, climb crags, tromp on trails, float a river or stare at the stars until I feel I have seen enough shooting stars.
I am down for an adventure when the time is right. I travel light and always make time for the scenic detour or the crazy scheme even if it means few more days tacked onto the trip. My dog Ollie comes along whenever he can. Trips by bike and boat are among my favorite.
I'd take a sunset and home cooked meal over going out to the club any day.
PHILOSOPHY
respect gets respect. I have found that is a more universal than personal philosophy with most couch surfers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sharing the place I live in with those who pass through. Make future plans to get out and about on the couches of the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couch surfing experience has been great so far, I have met some fantastic people and pets. I am always pleasantly surprised by the kindness of strangers we invite into our house. Trading stories from the road, travel ideas, books or photos are some of my favorite parts about CS.
Interests
I enjoy spending time in the mountains, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, my dog, fishing, camping, cooking, back packing, river floats, swimming, tree climbing, snow boarding powder days, hot spring hunting, hitting the road with a few friends and getting rad.

Music, Movies, and Books
Open to a good read whenever. Monkey Wrench Gang and On the Road, top the all time favorite. I just finished A Traveler's History of Japan, a worthy read to inspire an adventure. Water for elephants was a pretty fun read as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been lucky enough to see a few amazing things with: Crater Lake, Meteor Showers, Giant Redwoods, hippos, African Elephants, lions and the Rocky Mountains, Live Music, especially blues, funk and soul.
Teach, Learn, Share
See it. Do it. Teach it.
Healing, educating and helping really interest me. I have been a paramedic for years. I am going back to school in pursuit of advanced medicine.
