I love meeting people and I want to do whatever I can to support the couchsurfing spirit.
I travelled extensively in Central and South America in college and remember those years fondly and all the wonderful people who helped me feel at home while I was travelling, so I want to pay it forward!
I have a graduate degree in sustainability economics and currently work for a company that does housing work. One of my major roles is to work on the Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress.
I really enjoy salsa and bachata social dancing and am always looking for people to go with!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have loved people who I have met through couch surfing. I am not as active as I was when I was travelling, but I've almost always had positive experiences with surfers and I love keeping the dream alive.
While in Buenos Aires I used Couchsurfing extensively for finding partners to do language exchanges and for social and cultural activities.
I enjoy traveling and spending time with anyone who is willing and open enough to share experience.
Swimming, reading, nature, sociology, economics, interesting conversation, religion, bachata and salsa dancing.
Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to hip-hop when I'm in the car. On books, I'm a huge fan of non-fiction. I don't really watch television, but I have watched a couple of shows that I liked a lot including Arrested Development and This is Us.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived with 6 women in a rural area of Nicaragua for a short period while in college.
Teach, Learn, Share
Some ukulele playing. Swimming technique, Spanish, and anything you ever needed to know about Excel.
