I am an adventurous guy who has been meaning to get on couchsurfing for a long time now. I love meeting new people and learning about them. I have been fortunate enough to do a lot of traveling around the world and it has been amazing. I now have a son and a daughter with my beautiful Brazilian wife. I love all sports, both playing and watching. My favorite teams are all Chicago. Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Hawks! and my soccer team Corinthians from Sao Paulo where I lived for 7 years. I love eating and cooking. If you are kind enough to allow me into your home, I would love to make you something. I promise you will be impressed. I love hiking and the outdoors. Nothing really scares me. This might have got me in some trouble in the past, but I am still here with all my body parts. I look forward to meeting you.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As I mentioned, it has been something I've been meaning to do for years(7ish). I don't think it was around when I first started traveling back in 2003, but it is better late than never. I sometimes still travel by myself or with my dog. I am hoping to find some very friendly people that would take her and I in when we go on mini road trips. She is the funnest, sweetest dog you will ever meet. I really want to get tied into this cool community.

I taught ESL for five years in Brasil full time. I still continue to teach a few of my students from time to time online. While traveling abroad or in the States, if anybody needs help with their English, I am happy to help.

Aside from that, I love sharing travel stories. I can't wait to hear yours as well.

I am super chill. I will open up my house to visitors when my wife is not in town. This is usually for a few weeks out of the year when she is in Brazil. She usually goes twice a year, while I only go once a year.

I have a dormant tourism company in Brazil, so I know almost all there is to know about that country and what is has to offer to tourists.
