ABOUT ME

Interested in social justice. I really enjoy playing music, I sing and play a few instruments, and I'm really trying to write some of my own songs. Just recently I've gotten into bouldering and rock climbing. I live on my bicycle and really enjoy mountain biking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm trying to offer deeper experiences to couch surfers in my area. What I mean is I'm trying to take the friends I meet out of their superficial experiences of the area I live in and immerse them in something more tangible and rewarding.

I've hosted a few surfers now, and i'm so grateful to have been able to connect with such wonderful people.

Interests

I love hitch hiking! I've hitched some 20 000kms so far and hope to add to that number soon. I love cooking! I will cook you a delicious meal, or patiently observe you cooking your favourite meal.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music. All of it, all the time! I especially am into funk music and folk tunes, though I was once a metal head and can get into any type of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiked from Toronto to the pacific coast (in washington) then back in the space of 16 days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've become a pretty decent guitar teacher lately. I can make a pretty tasty vegan meal and look forward to sharing some recipes with people. I also spend my days taking care of plants and have amassed a bit of plant knowledge.
I'd really like to learn more about the piano and perhaps get a refresher course on sewing.
And definitely need to learn as much about dancing as possible!
