About Me
Hi guys! I'm a student studying Computer science currently doing an internship as a software engineer.
Love being active, especially climbing and biking. I'm a vegetarian, as are a few of my roommates, so if you want some awesome veggie grub, this is the place for you. I also live with some meat-eaters though, so you won't starve if you need the meats.
My roommates are all students too. We've got a pretty good spread of majors: Computer Science (me), English, Music Industry, Economics, Civil Engineering, and Human Services! So if you want to talk to people about interesting things, you've got a pretty wide selection :).
We keep a neat house, but we're not really uptight about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have so many couches!!! Seriously way too many. Also we want to meet awesome people from around the world, learn about other cultures, and hang out with some fun interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
My favorite band is The Mountain Goats. If you haven't listened to them, take an hour, pick an album at random, and give it a listen all the way through. You won't regret it, I promise. Other than them, I listen to I guess what I'd call alt rock. I'll just throw some bands out: Pavement, Sonic Youth, Jets to Brazil, Modest Mouse, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Nana Grizol
Movies:
Don't watch a lot of movies, but my favorites are: Synecdoche, New York; Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moonrise Kingdom, The Intouchables, Lord of the Rings
Books:
In no particular order... Prince of Tides, Lolita, The Hitchhiker's "Trilogy", A Clockwork Orange
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a 10-day road trip around the south island of New Zealand once, and that was pretty much the definition of amazing! Seriously, if you haven't been to that country, get there ASAP.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to know about computers, I'm your guy! Computers are so central to our lives, but many of us know so little about them. I can't claim to be an expert on all things computers, but I can probably teach you some cool new things :). Hopefully you can teach me some cool new things about whatever you're interested in! And if you also study computers, you can definitely teach me some new things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We've got a great selection of couches for all of your surfing pleasure. Also a pretty roomy kitchen, which we're happy to break bread with you in. A hot shower for all of your cleanliness needs also comes free of charge!
If you're just here for a few days or so, don't worry about food - we've got you!
