CURRENT MISSION

Not sure; I just I have to meet a lot of people to find that out.

ABOUT ME (2009)

I am So Cal American born. I love the city I live in and would like to share it with the world's travelers. No matter how amazing the geography or architecture is in a place it's the people that make it truly amazing. That sounds generic...I was born in a superpower that is many times culturally examined by its foreign policy and excesses; this is fallacious. Luckily, the vast majority of people I've met know how to separate the individual and their respective government. I know America has a bad wrap but I still love it immensely and it's definitely worth being traveled. It's a pleasure seeing the countries whose people('s ancestors) built the one I grew up in. E Pluribus Unum.

I'm an Anthropology student at FJC, transferring to CSULA. I want to travel Asia -starting with the Philippines - to explore as always, but also because it'd be great for my major. I will return in September for school, so I hope to have gained quite a bit of experience in Asia by that time. I don't know how this trip will turn out but definitely want to get great photos - got a new film camera :) - and possibly some interviews with people, or some observation-making, depicting a cultural practice, value, whatever. I'd like to farm rice :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every time a couchsurfer stays with another or hosts another is an additional opportunity to ensure or instill faith in people. I can contribute to the furthering of people's hope in the decency of others when I stay somewhere. With respect and gratitude I will participate in this worldwide couch surfing phenomenon.- I just copied and pasted this from someone else haha.I'm kidding but this is a generic response, though very true.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

(2009) I couchsurfed with Kamal Panthe in Belgium and Tania in Ukraine. Both were extremely hospitable and even made me and the other CSers lunch, dinner, and breakfast. We made meals in return. Both also replied at short notice so I'm very lucky. I've genuinely been inspired by these people to do more good in my life and become a good host when I can... (2011) I got to host (1) a Canadian couple - and got them into Disneyland for free :) (2) Germans (3) more Germans (4) Danish dude (5) a Brazilero and two S. Koreans (6) and whatya know, more GERMANS. Haha, too much fun.
