Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the people on Couchsurfing, as many of them are very open, want to experience the new, unknown, want to meet and get to know new people. It seems to me that this is one of the most important attidudes in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

All from Hermann Hesse, Charles Bukowski, Wernerz Herzog and Alejandro Jodorowsky.
Best for sure are: The deeply true, funny and disgusting, yet artistic "Women" from Bukowski, the most beautiful language and flow in... "Siddhartha" from Hesse, the crazy backstory/making-off and result "Fitzcarraldo" from Herzog, and the not-to-describe-art of movie-making "Holy Mountain" from Jodorowsky.
But the very best, of course, you gotta see the documentary "Jodorowsky's Dune", to get a glimpse of what crazy creativity, will power and motivating others can achieve.
And big love for Cloud Atlas, crazy book, crazy movie. Just impossible to write a screenplay out of that book, but they did it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met a guy from South-Africa in Mallorca on a wedding. One year later, I went to South-Africa for holidays and, in a very small town, i saw that guy again, in front of a super market.

I hiked through France with a Friend. It took us 3 weeks to get from Paris to Marseille, where we originally wanted to stay that 3 weeks. It still is one of the most memorable and exciting holidays I have ever had. Well, I think 1-2 days after we arrived in the coast of France, we had to get back, so we took the TGV (fast train) and in 3 hours we were back in Paris.
