Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was randomly bummed into Sinda in a Melbourne park back in 2005. She introduced me to Iwan, from Frankfurt, who was desperatedly looking for accomodation in Hong Kong to start his model career and business. I was studying/working in Australia by that time. Since I realised it's very difficult to settle at the beginning so I offered him to stay at my parents for a couple of nights when he first started. They got along well and he ended it up spending a few months with them. My parents totally forgot about me as they are too busy to hang out with their new German son.....

This year, 2008, I have my first chance to travel in Europe after living, working, studying and dream pursuing in Australia. And this is the first time to meet my parents adopted son in person. He is much taller and more handsome than me....And I can tell why I was forgotten.....

Despite the outfit, we are kind of similar in the way we are living. He introduced me to CS2 and brought me to the new horizon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met Pid on couchsurfing then in London. We shared a lot of interest. So we decided to go to Glastonbury together!!!
Spending 2.5 days wandering between gigs, drinking, dancing and chatting from the shape of cloud to aspects of life.

Slept on Couch of Alex in Bristol whom came to talk to me after my first international presentation in Manchester. Was supposed to a one day visit down south, I ended it up spending the whole weekend with the crew and cruise around the stone circle, harbour festival and clubbing till late or early. Thanks Archi !!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent one year in a small down far away from all the capital cities in Australia. Staying away from the hectic commercial world just to pursue my dream to work and learn environmental architect.

In addition to the drawing technics, it's a contemplating year which I learn to perceive, communicate and stay positive. I also learn to appreciate the aesthetic of nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn to embrace differences
Not to impose my own idea on others
There are many ways to the goal, mine is not the only one
One size doesn't fit all apparently
If you want how people treat you, pls start from youself

Countries I’ve Visited

Japan, Thailand
