About Me

So how's it going everyone? I'm just starting with Couchsurfing and I'm still learning what it's all about. I was born and raised in a small Michigan town in the US but decided to gear up, take off, and get some serious life and cultural experience points in the world.

I'm always on the move. I'm a skier and it's rare I'll turn down a longboard cruise to the beach in my hometown. I fully embrace a nickname a buddy gave me before. Seango. I think it's fair to say I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie too. I can be a workaholic when needed but afterwards a cold beer is definitely in order.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn more about other cultures and the area from the people that live in them. People who are not just up for sharing their knowledge of the area but are willing to get up and show me. You can't rely on those hotel desk clerks for that stuff....

That and the place to stay is a plus.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a die hard Aerosmith fan. Always have been, always will be. Lucero is another top band pick of mine. "On My Way Downtown" ⇄ one good song right there. Citizen Cope, Grammatik, Incubus, Atmosphere, Disturbed. It ranges. Movies? Shawshank Redemption.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a semi spur of the moment decision to move to a big mountain ski resort on the other end of the country for a season of ski and work. One of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm still wondering why I moved back....

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything from basic housework to manual labor if that's what this categories getting at. I was an electrician in the past. I'm open to learning new things. I'm not worth much in worldly stories yet but I am big into cooking breakfasts, you can count on that being covered on my end.
