About Me

Hi, I'm Sean. I'm 30 and I am finishing a degree I deferred in communications: social/political sciences and creative writing. I freelance as a videographer and work part-time in retail. I enjoy political conversations over dinner, so hopefully you're not afraid to have one. Not mandatory of course. :)

I live in the inner-city of Sydney. Unfortunately I cannot host at the moment while I am living in a sharehouse.

I have hosted before and its always been a rewarding experience. Although I have been living in Sydney for 12 years, I was born in a regional town in the north of Australia. I think this has helped me maintain an intrinsically heightened sense of curiosity towards the urban landscape and all it has to offer. Sharing this with people is genuinely sweet, even if I can't host them right now -- Sydney has a lot of small hidden beaches and a plethora of seriously good cafes that can easily be missed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I consider myself to be open minded with an enquiring outlook on life and couch surfing allows me to meet new people and feed my curiosity. Might sound a bit clichéd, but it is after all what couchsurfing is about right?

Interests

Above all? Probably a great conversation.

Getting outdoors, experimenting with recipes, spontaneity, galleries, bookstores, reading, people watching, singing in a choir, going for swims -- all while trying to stay gainfully employed
