Overview
About Me
I am 22 years old and from Seattle, WA. I work as a server, barista, and fashion model but consider myself more generally an artist. Interaction with strangers and collective pondering of the universe are two of my favorite things and have found both of these in my CS experiences. I've recently graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Philosophy! We are all apart of a global community and I think that CouchSurfing is the most innovative interface to help facilitate the cultivation of relationships.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have big aspirations of networking, traveling, and making friends all over the world because:
1) friends are RAD.
2) the benefits of travel are astounding. The opportunities to learn are myriad!
3) you never know what kind of experiences you'll have until you put yourself out there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything I can dance to. Such as hip-hop, classic rock, jazz, alternative, soul. If the song has heavy bass I am more than likely going to like it. You can't be too particular with music as it IS art and one should always hold an appreciation for the tunes you can't necessarily jive to.
My favorite movies include anything by Stanley Kubrick, Princess Bride, Dumb&Dumber (original), and anything with Bruce Lee! Film is awesome and there is no way of listing all the greats.
I often read philosophy books from metaphysics, epistemology, aesthetics, and Greek classics to eastern philosophy like The Art of War. Reading philosophy can help illuminate the unknowns of the world and can inform how to live a good life.
When it comes to books I am all about fantasy and science-fiction. Currently working on the Song of Ice and Fire series!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my most memorable, glorious, summertime adventures brought me to the Gorge Amphitheater on the Columbia River in Washington State. It was a scorching day with not but one cloud in the sky. When dusk started to settle the temperature was still high and a dry lightning storm had rolled in setting the most beautiful sprawling nature landscape. The storm went on for about 5 hours and I sat on the hood of my car, meditated, and had a revelation about inner peace and mindfulness
This was an amazing experience to me because it was one of the major times in my life where I was able to 1) Literally visualize lucid objects while meditating and 2) Build upon my knowledge of how to change your life through resetting positive intent and having hope that everything works out in the end when you have the willing intent.
Teach, Learn, Share
Painting with others is a joy I love to share. I am passionate about pursuing personal flourishing and enlightenment through yoga particularly, so if you are a fellow aspiring yogi/yogini then we will get a long and have to share our stories!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think one of the most important thing to put in this box is that I am clean, eco-conscious, and respectful to people and property. Those 3 things are what I would want to look for in a guest so I figured I should emulate those virtues and offer hosts a positive experience.
I also enjoy sharing deep conversation about any topic, I like to provoke certain dialogue by spreading what I have learned in my philosophy studies.
