About Me

Hello,

Were back on CS having moved out of a shared house in London and into our own tiny flat in Rochester.

Children, couples and pets are welcome but we only accept those who have hosted before.

We look forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make the world an easier, better and cheaper place to explore, trust and do nice things for others.

Meet interesting people and learn about their travelling, culture and language while having a nice meal or a drink.

Interests

We're mostly interested in travelling the world and living a good life.

My wife studied chemical engineering, then environmental science, and now she works as a Science teacher in a secondary school in London. I'm a trainee anesthesiologist in Kent.

Our dream is to build a tiny house somewhere in a field or farm, start a family and rescue a dog. In the meantime we may move to Singapore, close to Liyanas family in Malaysia.

Some things we both enjoy: Technology, science, cycle trips, travelling, rock climbing, good food, hiking, squash, skiing, meditation, historical buildings, selfless and friendly people, anti-consumption and self-development.

(Most of all I like video games)

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment im listening to a lot of jazz, 90s hip hop, house music.

Liyana is reading a lot of sci-fi. Her favourite book is Sapiens.

Favourite movie is impossible to say.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled from Barcelona to Rome over a month and met my wife just before leaving to the airport home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm sure we have much to learn from each other. I like learning words in new languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a spare sofa, we always eat meals with guests and access to the local area. There's a bath and washing machine for those rogue travellers out there.

It's a cool place to have a flat, on the old high street next to Rochester cathedral (second oldest in the UK), Norman Castle and Charles Dicken's Swiss cottage. 2 min walk from station, large car park nearby.

Most of all we are travellers so we know what is needed. Come and enjoy!

Countries I’ve Visited
