ABOUT ME

Hej,

I guess in some ways I am a quite ordinary Swedish girl, who is at the moment living in Chile for some months to get to know a new culture and to have a break from the studies.

For me, the people make their countries, that's why the most important thing for me when I am traveling is to get to know the local people at the destinations I'm visiting, because I think that's the best way to really get to know the country and how it works, if you know the mentality of the people and what is important to them.

At the moment I'm having a break from the University in Munich where I'm studying psychology and pedagogy. Munich has been my home for over 4 years. I first came here in September of 2009 to work as an au pair, and I really fell in love with the city.

Interests

I would describe me as a pretty natural and normal person. I grew up at the countryside with animals and really in the middle of the nature, and I guess that's why I still prefer the rather green areas. But I like city life too, and I really enjoy going for a beer or a nice cocktail in a fine bar where you can have interesting conversations, laugh and just have fun and enjoy the moment and the evening.

In some ways I am a little bit of an active person, since I really enjoy long walks in the forest, horseback riding, jogging, swimming, cycling (but please no football!), but really not exaggerated.

I have a big interest in discussing how people works and think, our future and our past, what makes us laugh and what makes us sad, what does the politicians do and what is happening in the world.

I enjoy reading and talking about books and movies, and like other normal persons I'm a big fan of music, almost of any kind. To get away from my studies I try to learn playing guitar. It's not working that very well, but I enjoy it, and more important: it makes me think about other things when I need a break from the books.
