ABOUT ME
I went to Europe in college. I got in MFA in poetry and spent a few more years studying Italian so I could translate literature and visit Italy again. In 2008 I spent three weeks in Pisa. Changed my life!
PHILOSOPHY
"The car don't make the man. The clothes don't make the man. The jury don't make the man. The man makes the man."
--Ice Cube, quoting his father
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Founded two groups: the Pioneer Valley Couch Surfing group and the fly fishing group. I am the ambassador for my town.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed in Paris for ten days with an ex-ESL student who I became good friends with because we were both crazy about the Boston Red Sox. Then a few years later I couch surfed in Italy and it worked! My experiences in the States have included trips to New York City, a small town near Cape Cod, and Charleston.
