ABOUT ME

I am a single woman, former professional firefighter and current nurse practitioner. No kids, so I get to never have to completely grow up myself! I played lots of volleyball as a young adult, then became a major couch potato, now I want to surf those couches instead. I am training for a triathlon (a very slow one, but I should finish!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Scorsese, my favorite movie so far is "Wings Of Desire" by Wim Wenders, and I love film noir- especially French Noir and 40's US noir.

I read "junk food" books, mostly sci-fi, but I plan on putting together a "bucket list" of literature I want to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a firefighter for 15 years, and when I was in Paris I got to see a firefighter protest and get tear gassed at the Eiffel Tower ;-)
