ABOUT ME
**Update December-2013
I am back in the Seattle area now. I just moved into a new place. It is pretty cozy place. It has a couch you can sleep on and some extra blankets. Great location, on West Lake Union.
**Update July-2012
I am leaving for the Mongol Rally tomorrow. My teammate Andy and I are driving from London to Mongolia. Anywhere we could stay in between would be very helpful. I am extremely excited for this trip. You can learn more about the rally here.

**Update January-2012
I am currently in Hawaii. I am living in Kaneohe with my friend Jun, We are hanging out here for a while. I am also getting ready for the Mongol Rally this summer. I am excited to join the fun. I leave for London in mid-June.
** Update September-2011
I cut the cord and have been travelling for about 6 months now. The next 2 years are going to be the best years of my life if they follow the trend of the last few months. I hope to start learning about more ways in which I can work with microfinance organizations that serve poverty stricken areas.
**Update March-2011
I am currently traveling and in the process of transitioning away from work and traveling the world for the next 2 years.
I am sailing in Croatia and Greece this summer and looking to see new places and couch surf with great people while I am on the shore.
PHILOSOPHY
Help other people and good luck will follow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to the community and just got verified. My door is now open to couch surfers looking for a place to stay. Come join me in Seattle if you need a great couch to sleep on.
**Update - I will be moving to Hawaii in February. I will be welcoming couch surfers starting in Mid March. Additionally, if you speak Japanese, I would love to practice with you.
See you in Hawaii!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I really enjoy hosting and I have surfed in locations around the world. I have had some of the best traveling in my life while couch surfing. It is quite freeing to have no plans or agenda and be able to see a city from a residents perspective.
I have had opportunities to host 6 people from all over the world at a villa in Indonesia, invite people into my home in hawaii and show them around the island, to host people in my apartment in Seattle. All of these were great hosting experiences.
I have couchsurfed on everything from a college dorm apartment floor in Japan to hanging out with magnificent people in Croatia. Everything in between has been amazing.
