About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel and experience places like a local
ABOUT ME
I am a casual guy with a good sense of humor. My friends know my belly laugh and how much I love to eat great food. I'm an estate planning attorney now. I love to learn new things. This year I'm trying to learn a couple new languages, improve my French, learn how to play golf, and honing my bbq skills.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My hope is that I can introduce folks to my city from the perspective of a local and have my travel enriched by discovering places with locals. I like the activities side of the site more than the couch surfing, but I'm open. I live in First Hill, a quiet neighborhood between Capitol Hill and Downtown Seattle.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never couch surfed before, but I'm excited about the potential to meet new folks and see the world from the perspective of locals!
Interests
I love to learn everything I can about cooking and my favorite part of travel is eating local foods. To be able to eat what I want and cut down on stress, I took up running marathons and am hoping to travel for some major ones. For my tenth marathon, I'd like to run the Athens Marathon (but ohhhh the hills). I love learning languages and speak French at an advanced level and am learning Spanish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I went to Paris, I arrived and it had just snowed. I went for a walk in the snow and it was almost surreal how peaceful the city was. Walking along the Seine in the snow, seeing a city I'd dreamt of for so long, it was a moment I won't forget.
Another neat experience was going to Ecuador for a month when I graduated high school. It was my first time abroad and my first time traveling on my own. It was that trip that started my love of travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach folks how to cook, BBQ, or speak English (I'm on LiveMocha if you'd like help).
Also, I really enjoy showing people around my city.
I'm interested in learning Spanish and how to cook new things.
