Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I surf because its the best way to travel, seeing places from the eyes of a local, and all the hidden gems and experiences off the tourist trail. Ive met a bunch of super cool people on CS and even some of true friends for life, and had some unforgettable hang outs as well.

Now I'm using to meet drinking buddys when on trips

Interests

I spent 2 years backpacking the world, then I stopped in Hong Kong my favourite place, and have been living there for about 5 years. I'm addicted to the ocean, doing lots of open ocean paddling sports such as outrigger canoeing and dragon boating and fishing. I also love travelling, hiking, boxing, camping and drinking beer and having a laugh and I have 2 little cats, bubble and milk tea haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Everest Base camp/Annaporna Base camp/3 passes in Nepal! Also tracked and spotted 3 wild Tigers in the Jungle of Bardia on the Nepal/India Border, Drove round Havana in Cuba in a drop top Cadillac, cliff jumping in Thailand, Hitchiking from Osaka to Hiroshima in Japan, Stayed in the oldest rainforest in the world and saw wild orangutans in Borneo, Broke my leg skiing down a mountain in Bulgaria, also skiid the steepest slope in Austria, survived a 6.1 earthquake in Taiwan,, climbed to the top of Mt Fuji in 3 hours, went to the sumo wrestling championship tournament in Japan, Dived with 50 Turtles in Sipidan (Malaysia) Paraglided at 2000 metres off a cliff in Austria, Paraglided at 3500 metres of a Glacier in the French alps, 2 week hiking trip in the French Alps, sunrise hot air balloons in sri lanka and diving with whalesharks and manta's in the Maldives. Most recently paddled an OC1 around the entire Hong Kong ocean border solo in 4 days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of shit banter, a lot of travel stories, and loads of beers and hopefully friendship. And if you want to come to beautiful Hong Kong you have a sofa at my place
