About Me
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Rosario, the second largest port city in Argentina. I have a PhD in History, though mostly I dive in the worlds of urban sociology and anthropology. I'm a researcher in the national research council of Argentina (CONICET in Spanish) in the field of urban cultural studies. I teach at Facultad de Humanidades y Artes, Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
I'm rather talkative and quite social. I love music (I play guitar and sing a little bit) and food in all their forms. Scheduling is my kind of neurosis. I am sort of "conect the dots" kind of guy.
I also enjoy most forms of geek culture, specially when it envolves memes and in-universe jokes. I watch various TV series (maybe some anime and comics on the side).
I haven't travelled much in my life, I'm looking forward do it at last since my schedule is quite flexible nowadays.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to know not only the places, but their people. I enjoy exchanging stories, cultural backgrounds, some beer or wine, and good vibes with others. I'm sure that if there is something similar to a purpose in life, is to look at it through the eyes of the others, to actually practice empathy.
Interests
I'm all about music (listed below). I like cooking and to experiment in the kitchen. I like comic books ( Marvel die hard fan). I also love absurd humor and crazy anecdotes. I enjoy long walks and good landscapes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Vomit free since '03.
Went to the Kurt Cobain Memorial (Seattle) in the day of his death, by foot. +3 miles under the worst weather possible on April, white sneakers, no reception or gps. Got there, I don't know how. Found an amazing, spontaneous community gathering around the bench. Most "spiritual" moment of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I do the first and the second for a living, they are a part of my everyday life. Crazy in love with my job. I consider sharing is the key of any human interaction. I consider sharing stories, anecdotes and personal insights are extremely powerful and meaningful gifts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
