ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old Dutch guy from Leiden. Next to working travelling and travelling, I spend most of my time trying to find my keys. Apart from that I fill my days drinking coffee, socializing with friends, going to parties and always trying to have as much fun as possible, always and anywhere.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy meeting locals wherever I travel. To surfers I can offer a couch + provide a good time in Leiden. Ofcourse with good coffee, drinks and party's and if you're interested I can also show you around and give a city tour!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been couchsurfing myself a little bit in Sweden (Stockholm and Sunsvall). Also have surfers sleeping over on and attended the Leiden couchsurf gatherings

Interests

I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world and hear their stories. I like traveling and tourism, geography, music, walking/hiking, party's and cooking

I'm always up for good coffee, beer and salty liquorice and am a huge fan of Joppie sauce!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Australia was one amazing experience overall. Have been there for a year and had the time of my life. Also did many other (shorter) trips such as a two month community based tourism research in South Africa and Lesotho, a couple of years ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach surfers Dutch, English, how to tie their shoes and how to juggle! I'm also getting better and better at playing didgeridoo on a vacuum cleaner pipe, this works especially well after a few beers.
