ABOUT ME

Born and brought up in Poland after completing BA deegrees in pedagogy and tourism I left the country for 6 years and Lived in Edinburgh, Scotland, where I worked in hospitality and volunteered in social clubs for kids with special needs. Did EVS ecological project in turkey. Recently got my diploma in addiction counselling, worked as a social worker with domestic violence victims and youth. I like mountain hiking and rural areas but also enjoy the big cities where I like to meet people and listen to some good music. On every occassion I try to shoot photos - you can check my blog http://fettersofillusion.blogspot.com/ and as you can see my favourite type of photography is people and street.
Easy going, open minded - even though not always easy, try to accept reality as it is and enjoy time with peace of mind and a good laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

It's a subject for a long conversion over a tea or wine but my main focus in life is to loose ignorance that stops us from living and seeing what is real.

I stayed on peoples couches around turkey in many cities. Always enjoyed it and looking forward to host in the future.

Books: Leaves of grass by Whitman, Tao Te Ching, Island by Huxley, Jed Mckenna Trilogy, 3 Pillars of Zen, Poems by Ryokan, Siddharta by Hesse, Methamorphosis by Kafka...........
Movies: It's always hard to choose, but anything from Kurosawa to Peter Jackson.
Music: mainly electronic from fusion through hip hop to dubstep but I love jazz funk and soul and sometimes listen to some world and folk as well. I think my favourite artist Madlib matches this preference perfectly.
