Overview
About Me
I am a calm young man who is interested in seeing and exploring the world. I am dying to learn about other cultures and what comes with them. I am a very social and positive person who enjoys meeting new people. How awesome would it be to go to any country in the world and have a sort of network there?!
I am a midnight kind of person. I love being awake in the night where the quietness surrounds you. The best conversations and thoughts emerge after midnight. Best served with a glass of red wine!
I am a dreamer, however I am also a realistic person who is down to earth. I am the kind of person who dreams about reaching the stars but I know that I might only get to the moon.
In 2011/12 I spent a year in high school in USA and it has shaped my inner values and my look on the world ever since. That is also when my lust for travelling started! As cliché as it may sound I dream about travelling the world.
I can't wait to get to know you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy travelling and that is best done on a budget, where staying with locals is cheaper than staying at hotels or hostels. Despite the economy it is also more tempting to stay with locals in a foreign country, a foreign culture. You get a more fulfilling experience than you would get by staying in a room alone. This is also a great way to establish a network across the world which can be beneficial in many ways.
Interests
I have many interests such as tasting foreign cuisine, travelling, reading, learning new languages, cooking, any kind of sport and discussing current topics. I am not afraid to try new things and my list of interests is quite broad.
I also enjoy talking about philosophy and the meaning of life. Why are we put in this world?

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is incredibly broad. I can listen to hard rock, pop, hip-hop, 80's, folk-music and the list goes on. My taste in movies and books is similar. I like adventure books and movies e.g. "The Lord of The Rings", "The Hobbit", "Eragon" and so on. I also enjoy reading Lonely Planet books and planning my trips.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the school year 2011/2012 I was in the United States as an exchange student. It was an experience for life, where I got to see the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, I made friends for life and now I have a familiy in the U.S I can always return to.
In 2014/2015 I hosted an Italian girl for a school year and it was just as fulfilling as being an exchange student myself. Now I also have a sister in Italy!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share knowledge of Denmark and histories of my previous vacations. If communication beforehand is clear, it is also possible that I can bring something specific that Danish culture has to offer if the host would be interested in this. I would also love to cook for my host as a sign of appreciation :)
