I'm a 19 year old who has lived in various countries, but Australia for most of my life. I am currently taking a gap year between school and university, working in a school in Cambridge, UK. I have always loved travelling and am doing it as much as possible now that I live so close to mainland Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, an integral part of travelling is the people you meet and the experiences you share with them. I'm new to couchsurfing but hope to use it to more completely discover/enjoy the places that I travel to and to meet just some of the many interesting people that make up this community. The philosophy of Couch surfing is fantastic and I hope that I can also improve the travels of others by hosting them.

Interests

Learning - As cliche as it sounds I am young and there is lots I don't know. I'm always looking to broaden my perspectives and learn new things. I read a lot about science and technology but am also intrigued by philosophy, arts, and all else that life has to offer.

Travel - Goes without saying, there's nothing quite like discovering the history culture, and people of other countries.

Languages - I can speak both French and German to perhaps a highschool level but trying to improve.

Music - I've recently begun to learn the piano.

Sport - Played rugby, basketball, and tennis in the past, currently run (casually). Love skiing.
