ABOUT ME

I am an enthusiastic, adventurous, and outgoing person. I love meeting new people and seeing new places. I love nature and also cities, especially when I am exploring a new one. I play the piano, do ballet, and really enjoy athletics. I try to appreciate all life has to offer, and really enjoy good times with friends, whether at a club, in the mountains, or on a soccer field.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
The Lord of the Rings is quite possibly my favorite series. I love how Tolkien creates an entire universe and then writes a story within it - rather than writing a story with a universe that conveniently obliges to make plot points easier.
I also really enjoyed the the Enders Game series, Watership Down, A Higher Call, and plenty others.

Music:
I love Bach, Chopin, and love to play Liszt. Really I like all of the great classical composers, but those are my favorite to play on the piano.
In other genres, I enjoy jazz (if the artist is good), and occasionally electronic music as study assistance. I also enjoy good remixes - the Billy Van remix of Concerning Hobbits is one of my favorite.

Movies:
As you may expect from a Computer Science major, I enjoy my fair share of Marvel and DC Comics universe movies. However, I can also enjoy a very different genre movie like Midnight in Paris or Music and Lyrics. I also really enjoy comedies like Hangover and Anchorman, and pretty much any good movie.
