Before commencing my travels I was following the 'traditional' path in life; I finished school, went straight to university, and then started working a 9-5 job in an office. It didn't take long to realise that this wasn't the life for me.
I fled the country with the goal of taking in all the joys of life, learning Spanish, and figuring out what I wanted to do with myself. So far I have been living the dream, can speak Spanish well, and am now have too many options about what to do with my life!

I am on couch surfing for the last leg of my journey on the way back to Australia because I want to be able to experience a different side of travelling beyond hostels and truly experience a place and meet some interesting and genuine people.

Intereses

I love music, and I love to dance. Seeing live music is one of the biggest pleasures in my life, and I will get down to just about anything.
Being outdoors and feeling everything nature has to offer is how I strive to spend my life, whether it is hiking, playing sports, working, exploring new places or simply relaxing.
I like to stay up to date with global affairs, and keep informed about issues developing around human rights, environmental changes, international trade and the emergence of new technologies. One of the things I love about travelling is the opportunities it provides for meeting people with new and different perspectives and experiences to exchange.

Música, películas y libros

I listen to all music - with my least favourite genre probably being country.

I haven't read many books since finishing school as I now read a lot of news and research articles instead, however my all time favourite book is 1984 by George Orwell, and the most recent book I have read 'No Place to Hide' by Glenn Greenwald basically describes how the present day is basically the same as 1984 thanks to the NSA and other government organisations.

I love film and television, especially science fiction.

Watching a storm roll into Death Valley at sunset, bringing first crazy dust, and then respite from the heat and giving life to an extremely desolate place.
