My name is Sebastian Karlsson and I was born and raised in the west coast of Sweden in a town called Uddevalla, close to the second biggest city of Sweden, Gothenburg. I moved to the north of Sweden three years ago to study Industrial Engineering and management in order to accomplish my goal of becoming a Master of Science.

My strongest characteristics are that I am outgoing and social with a humorous personality. I love the idea of making my friends happy; sometimes too happy which usually results in a short break with laughter and crying on the afternoon studies. I love the environment of having people around me, since the majority of the students are in the same situation as I am; studying far from home and longing for mother’s food and father’s inappropriate jokes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my semester of studies abroad I would love to travel around the United States to discover new climates, new culture; and meet a lot of happy people around the country.

The main reason why I am here on Couchsurfing is that I want to get to know myself and become more open minded. I have never traveled alone before and my goal is to see as much as I can during my visit in the United States.

Interests

I love sour drinks and beer, but not mixed up together. I also love to cook, even though it does not turn out to become the greatest dishes every time.

I like to keep myself in good shape; but I can also eat more than the most people i know which has resulted in a few eating competitions. So far I am undefeated.

A few other interests are Texas Hold'em and longboarding. Great combo, I know.
