About Me
Hi Folks!
My name is Sebastian. After having walked the Way of St. James from Geneva to Burgos destination Santiago de Compostela I have now found my route beyond the Camino. It led me into the e-Learning sector. On a volunteer basis I became Head of the German version of the world's most popular MOOC "Learning How To Learn". See this website for details – www.lwml.eu. The online-course is about learning in general – a key skill in a knowledge-based world characterized by rapid technological progress. Which is of course very different from the Camino. So here I am, in a fast-paced digital disruption sector and at the same time I know where to find peace. The Camino is my non-digital refuge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Pilgrim lodges might not always be in the right place. Heard they are cramped. Besides, staying with locals is more interesting and relaxed than with people who are in constant transit mode. The Way of St. James is about walking, sure. But there might be more to it than that.
Interests
Well, guess what: walking. I'm not much of a jogger, but love to walk. Of course Genf-Santiago isn't a stroll.

All sorts of piano music. Do you know Whisperings Solo Piano Radio? It's wonderful.
Intouchables is a great movie. Honig im Kopf, a German movie, is very good, too.
