About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Educate and prepare myself in order to make a meaningful, positive impact

ABOUT ME

I am an engineering student, I like learning about the world and its people. I am very passionate about my work but I'm sure to make time to share with others. I love good company and a good conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

The human is a social being and our lives become so much more meaningful when we share what we do and love with others and learn from them as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was first introduced to CS in Vienna. My flatmates were really active in the community and we hosted a ton of people throughout the summer I was there. I fell in love with the concept and have done a bit of surfing myself after that. I am back in Philly now and would love to meet travelers and show them cool stuff in the city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One summer in Vienna with tons of hosting, two small trips where I was surfing. One or two hosting experiences in Philly.

Interests

I am very interested in technology and how it can be used to make the world better, especially in developing nations. I am also into experiencing as many cultures as possible, learning many languages and understanding the world as best as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jorge Luis Borges, Gabriel García Márquez, Milan Kundera, Miguel Ángel Asturias, Tolkien, Fyodor Dostoevsky

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving with dolphins, skydiving, piloting a helicopter, seeing a supernatural green light fly through the sky, camping on the top of a volcano, and of course, couchsurfing!

Teach, Learn, Share

There are a great deal of engineering related things that I would be happy to teach and learn more about. On the other hand, my humanities are a bit weak and I would love to become more cultured, especially in literature.
