Overview
About Me
I am an easy going, kind, curious, open-minded person who loves to meet other people and learn about the world.
One of my favorite parts of my work as a cinematographer is that I often get to travel for documentary projects and learn about new places and people. I am sometimes a little quiet and shy when meeting new groups of people, but I love sharing and being open and honest, which is easier for me to do right off the bat one-on-one.
I was born in NYC, then my family moved to Mexico for four years, I grew up in Massachusetts, moved to Nashville, TN for college, stayed there a total of 6 years, where I grew to love the southeastern US, and am now living in Brooklyn, NYC. I am especially lucky that growing up I got to travel often, mainly because my dad made a good salary, and because my mother is from Spain, where we would travel to see our family and also explore other parts of Europe.
When I am not working in film production, I love to surf and I’ve recently started playing Dungeons & Dragons!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people and also travel. I think it's beautiful when people share with each other, their homes, their knowledge, their experiences. Although I am used to camping and traveling staying with friends and family, my first time couchsurfing with a total stranger (through this website) was in Kauai, Hawaii, and I met an amazing guy who I was able to stay with for a week. He was kind and generous and took me out (actual) surfing at a beautiful beach.
I hope one day soon I'll live in a place where I can repay the favor and host fellow couchsurfers, but it's hard living in Brooklyn, NY!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I found myself in Tanzania, sitting in a tree writing in my journal, when I looked up and all around me perched on other branches, just like myself, monkeys watched me intently. I like to think that I must have looked like a big weird monkey to them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to teach people anything I know: English, photo, video, cinematography, surfing, rock climbing
Although I don't have my own individual practice, I love yoga and really want to learn acro yoga.
I want to get better at speaking French, and although I am fluent in Spanish because my mother is from Spain, I could always use the practice as well.
