Hi! I'm Sebastian, a 22 year old guy from Vienna, who wants to travel the world, gain experience and have adventures all around the globe. I'm a very open minded person, who loves to talk about complex topics, such as philosophy, science, nature, anthropology, ... Same goes with movies for example. I love to analyze and interpret good content. Music is my biggest passion. I've been collecting and making music for all my life and I'm a passionate DJ.

In consequence of all these interests I tend to talk a lot and it's hard to stop me sometimes.

I don't eat any meat or milk products and love vegan cooking and eating. Stopped drinking alcohol a while ago, but I enjoy loosing myself in other ways.

Furthermore I passionately love to be lazy.
I'm fascinated by flora and fauna, I despise racism and bigotry and I'm an atheist / agnostic.
I try to have a fact-based world view.

If you're sad or stressed out and need someone to talk to, I'm always there for a good conversation and some advice. I've been blessed with some loving and caring parents and had a great childhood. Somehow I quite often find myself surrounded with people, that didn't have it that good. In that case the natural thing for me to do is to help and that's what I've been trying to do ever since.

When travelling I often prefer to be very independent, even if I'm by myself. It's absolutely no problem for me, if you are busy and don't have too much time for me, I actually enjoy having that kind of "freedom" when I'm exploring the area. If socializing and spending time together is important to you though, I'd be happy to adapt myself and try and jump into "social mode"! Talking openly about this before the journey or at the start of a couchsurf to prevent disappointment and misunderstanding is very appreciated! ;)

Fav Books: Everything by Yuval Noah Harari, The Selfish Gene, Factfulness, I love some Fantasy books like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Song of Ice and Fire and in my youth I read a lot of Astrid Lindgren, Michael Ende and Erich Kästner - but I tend to read more non-fictional work at the moment.

Fav Movies: There's so many, I'm a real cinephile - Here's some from the top of my head: Synecdoche New York, Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind, Pulp Fiction, Call Me By Your Name, Rosemarys Baby, Brazil, Babel, The Big Lebowski, Cache, 12 Monkeys, Birdman, Memories Of Murder, Bladerunner 2049, Parasite, Madeo, Moon, Donnie Darko, American Beauty, Moonrise Kingdom, ... I could go on and on.

Fav Music: Okay, this is the impossible task for me. I'm a music freak and I can't possibly narrow this down - so if you want to know, you have to find out in person. ;)
