About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring South and Central America

ABOUT ME

I'm an optimistic and open minded young man from Germany. Since I was young I love travelling and discovering new places or enjoy interesting people. I finished my Bachelor of Physics this spring and now have the whole summer for travelling before the Master program starts in winter :)

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything you can, discover new things, be open to many kind of things and ways of thinking. Don't stop to be curious whether at home or while travelling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Did a lot of couchsurfing in the US and hosted a couple of people back home in Berlin. Now I am hoping to experience couchsurfing in South and Central America.

Interests

I'm interested in many kind of sports but the most I like and practice is climbing (in and outdoor) and diving. Maybe someday I will do my divemaster :) I am generally interested in natural science, especially in Physics. Also I really enjoy visiting places and temples of old civilizations like the Inka or Maya.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I prefer Ska, Reggae, Crossover, and many kinds of electronic music
And there are really a lot of books and films I enjoy, we can talk about it for hours :D Most recently I read 1984 from George Orwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A parachute drop. It was an absolutely exciting and indescribable experience. I made a tandem jump and we were dropped from 3,500 metres and had 40 seconds of freefall! This combined with really sunny weather, it was fantastic!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like playing guitar and piano for a few years now, so we could share some songs ;) Also if you always wanted to know sth about quantum mechanics...! :D What I'd love to learn on this trip is spanish and surfing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some travel stories from the last years, dinner and def some good laughs :)
