ABOUT ME

Well my friends would say all kinds of things, but perhaps i should give the word to one of my children.

Ragnhild the daughter writes: "My father is a initiator, good at playing music, creative, and very passioned. he is a bit like a bird, he loves to travel and isn't afraid of the world. And lucky me, he is going to take me with him to Paris the summer of 2012".

Oh yes I have to say - I am a little devil of a cook.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had some surfers staying. Had the greatest experience in Paris last summer through some CS'ers.

Yes and in some time I would like to invite people for a summercamp or so, at my farm.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosting half a dozen till now, and it has been great (just tjeck out the references - hehe).
Went surfing in Paris last summer with my daughter, wich was incredible.

Interests

Popular movements, urban gardening, organic farming, self-sufficiency, sqatterhouses, playing music, acting, making jewelry.
I went to Paris to make research for a book, some of the action is suppose to take place in Paris among palestinians and the political left wing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes I'm into books trying to be a little bit of a writer myself. I would emphasize: The Alchemist by Coelho, The old man and the sea by Hemmingway and The little prince by Expury. Now that´s art to me.

But actually my own writing is more along the lines of Allende, Blixen, Capote. Just telling stories.

Musicwise i like experimental music like Pink Floyd and such, and i have been a big fan of Frank Zappa for many years.

Rigt now it's Ben harper and slide-music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking up and down Europe at the age of 18 to visit a tippi village in southern Spain.

Traveling The States and Central America at the age of 19, just going straight after my nose without a care.

And perhaps being part of the national rainbow-gathering in Alabama in the early nineties. That was absolutely way way out there. Ought to write about that too one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar for beginners. Done it a handfull of times.

I would like to share information and experience about self-sufficiency, popular movements and all things that gives us back the power to rule our own lives.
