Overview
About Me
I'm Sebastian, 22 and a student of Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management of at the Paul Bocuse Institute.
I'm from Peru but I came to France when I was 18.
I'm currently living in Paris.
I really like to travel and whenever I get a chance I take it. That's one of the reasons I joined CS I guess, to host people if they don't have a big budget and I hope others will do the same for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy independent cinema, movies like Summer Bummer, Unmade Beds, You don't know me, are really good small budget films that are refreshing instead of Hollywood big budget movies.
I also love the classics like Kubrick, Scorsese, Tarantino, Lynch, Hitchcock, Eastwood, Allen, Ford Coppola, Coppola, Polanski, Araki, De Palma (Scarface is one of my favorites movies ever).
I find Xavier Dolan (Les amours imaginaires, J'ai tué ma mère) incredible, he really loves close ups with no dialogue where the soundtrack really is all we need.
Alex Crigg, the director of the Phantom Limb is brilliant too. It's a short film about the traumas of a man after an accident where he recovers physically but emotionally there are still issues.
Yorgos Lanthimos is also a really good young director who directed Dogtooth, a film about 3 brothers and sisters who are raised in exclusion from society so the father "manufactures" his kids as he wishes. It's another kind of reality.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make Ceviche, staple dish of my country, or the best Canard à l'orange if you enjoy french classics.
