About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make some memories worth telling my grandchildren haha :).
ABOUT ME
I'm from Munich, Germany, and studied computer science there for the last 6 years (finished Nov 2014 yeah!!). In 2013 I was an exchange student at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA, where I made my first experiences with Couchsurfing. I play the piano (used to play in a semi-professional wedding band) and also a little bit the guitar. I love music (everything), I enjoy modern art (>1860s, also photography & digital art). I used to play soccer for a long time, but today I'm more into wall climbing and bouldering.
PHILOSOPHY
If you do it, do it right!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Until now, I'm mainly using Couchsurfing.org as a surfer (only hosted two people in Munich for a couple days, but they were friends I met in the USA). I know what it means to share one's home with someone and I'm very grateful for the hosts I've surfed with so far. I'm always making an effort to keep my footprint to a minimum and will give something back to you and the community. I will host more, once I can afford a bigger room/appartment.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in NYC (last minute), Miami (last minute), Washington D.C. and Philadephia. It has been an absolute pleasure every single time!

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz in general, Rock'n'Roll, Blues, Funk. I'm not a book worm, mainly read Sci-Fi, so Isaac Asimov, Star Wars, etc.. Btw, Hiromi Uehara is awesome, I've seen her live in Miami in April '13.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Couchsurfing on a catamaran off shore Miami, Florida. Was amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
Mm, what could I teach you? Maybe piano and playing Blues, I can also show you some basic things on the guitar. My mother tongue is German, if that interests you? To cook german style dishes outside Germany is a challenge, but I'll give my best if you want to have Schnitzel and potato salad :). I can teach you many things about programming software and websites. I worked quite a bit with Photoshop (e.g. creating flyers for advertisement purposes) and have good knowledge and practical experience with music recording and mixing. I can take you climbing or maybe let's start with bouldering (no risk, only 4 meters high :) ). Oh, and I can tell several hours worth of stories and insights about today's (and future) robots and robotic technology s what I studied, basically.
