About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To become a better version of myself, daily.
To provide a safe space for others (and myself) to explore healing within.
ABOUT ME
I like to think I'm a joyful, playful, and grateful soul, in a continuous search for self-improvement & self-development, trying to regain balance in life. I try to make the most of every day spent in this temporary state. This has accentuated since becoming a parent (which is the hat I wear daily more proudly than any other role).
I love travelling & meeting new people plus learning from different cultures; love to share experiences and to keep on living new ones. I like nature and small towns with "authentic" folks, but also like the variety offered by big cities and the huge amount of hidden knowledge behind their walls. Currently, I am based in the rural and scattered lands of Cornwall, UK.
I find peace and grounding in spending time in nature, whether that's in motion (e.g. walking, climbing, cycling, hiking, "functionally moving") or in stillness, contemplating, accepting. Writing, cooking, and 'hand-crafting' are expressions of my creative outlet, but also like the good ole' DIY.
I'm continuously learning, studying, never settling nor giving up, trying to find new (useful) meaning in experiences so that I can purposefully shape my pass through life. I believe in the value of family and friendship (which we can develop with humans and animals alike). I believe we thrive in the presence of others and that our relationships can define the quality of our lives.
I graduated from Med school and worked for "the system" for some time, only to realise that it was a 'means to a greater end' in my path (not currently practising as a doctor). It helped me to decide to integrate the vision from Eastern and Western medicine, so people (and healthcare providers) can benefit from a more holistic approach to health, learning how to bring balance to ourselves whilst empowering those around us. Currently, my training has lead me to discover Functional and Lifestyle Medicines, which I feel are the missing link between the East and West. The latter, linked to my training in Yoga, Ayurveda, and Polyvagal Theory, have helped me to make sense of the world we live in and the people that shape our lives daily.
Rather than writing an extensive 'autobiography' here, I am happy to share stories over a cuppa and good company.
PHILOSOPHY
"Believe nothing, it doesn't matter where you read it or who said it, unless it agrees with your own reason or your own common sense" (Siddharta Gautama)

Teach, Learn, Share
To share/teach: Ayurvedic massage/therapies, information on gut health, a bit of handcrafting if I'm travelling with my stuff (e.g: macrame, earring making, etc.), cooking skills and recipes.
I don't know, maybe just my "life experience" knowledge would be better over some home-made wholesome and full of love dinner.
To learn: anything that you want to share!
