About Me

My name is Sebas. I'm a social guy from Costa Rica with a big smile and 3 passions: People, Travel and Photography. January 2017 I decided to combine my passions and started a unique travel project around the world.

My mission is to learn as much as I can about all the different cultures from the places that I go. I want to get a complete new way of thinking about life and how we all are equal in this beautiful home called Earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found this to be my greatest opportunity to start my travel project, by sharing with local people, getting to live at first hand the real experience and I also want to share my story with the people when they visit Costa Rica or when I visit them.

Interests

I like music, dancing, food, hiking, camping, surfing, skating, reading, making videos, photography, new languages, movies, series, bonfires and many other things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I created and started the Green Life project within the tech company where I work in Costa Rica, from no bases, me and my team were able to make conscience in out work partners about the importance of recycling, reduce and reuse.

We did it through many mini campaigns with speakers that have chosen this way of life for their own, also, flyers, e-mails, tree sowings and much more.

Now, our project it's 1 year old and it's growing at light speed (which makes enormously happy), new work partners are joining our team, directors of the company are funding our initiatives and we're currently gathering all the requirements to be "Blue Flag" certify, which in Costa Rica is a huge certification a company can get, since we're a country that preserves 5% of Earth's wildlife and green life.

We've also manage to certify our project with Costa Rica's National Health Institute, which allow us to keep growing bigger and better within the company and our neighborhoods.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lot of stories of the way of living in Costa Rica, my adventures around the countries I've been, coffee from Costa Rica which is consider as one of the best in the entire world (I recommend it), 110% fun and excitement adventure and the most important thing that I can share would be a long life friendship which is what I treasure the most.
