About Me

I love travelling, exploring and being well out of my comfort zone.
I have many hobbies and life ambitions which all seem to go hand in hand revolving around nature and the outdoors.
I am now studying towards my commercial pilot license here in the UK but try to stay close to my artistic classical music education as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly.... I'm looking for a place to stay like all the weary travellers here, but also there is no better way to understand a country than through the mind of it's people, so establishing connections and having the privilege to share cultures bought me here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled around Lac Leman in 8 hours with time for a 30 minute nap. Prior to commencing, I stopped at a bike shop to pump up the tyres where the shop owner, upon taking an intrigued look at my bike, told me I'd be lucky to finish the whole thing without a problem. Seeing through the somewhat harsh judgement of my poor little bike, we pressed on together and finished just as the last of the Sun's rays were filtering through the furr like texture of the forest crested hills. It feels good to be underestimated yet succeed.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm bi-lingual and enjoy having the chance to meet and impart my knowledge on people, I have taught English to Portuguese kids/adults in the past, I love music and have taught classical guitar which I also adore doing.
If there's a clear night where you live I'd be happy to show you the constellations and stars as I'm somewhat of an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. I also have a private pilots license and love getting into the nitty-gritty of most technical subjects.
