Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To expand my horizons and make friends from all over the world!
ABOUT ME
I am an easygoing person who likes to enjoy life at my own pace. Along the way I try to learn and experience all that i can. I like to think and ponder about the big things in life.
I believe life has to be experienced to the fullest in order to grow and mature as individuals, and I actively throw myself into new, untried activities such as school and hall clubs, sports and leadership positions.
I like to connect with people on a deep level. I most enjoy individual conversations, and often discuss about life, family and personal experiences. I treasure my friends and family, as well as daily sights and happenings.
I believe strongly in individual liberty and choice, and making the world a better place in our own way.
PHILOSOPHY
Life should be about happiness. You and others too. But I don't think the current state of the world is like this. Too much You and too little of Others. I want to find my path in life where I'll feel happy, fulfilled and at peace with the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to be a friendly couchsurfer and share my perspective from a little-known country in Southeast Asia - Singapore! Definitely want to share abt the culture in my hometown, to let ppl know more abt it. I'm opening up my world to those want a sneak peek :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have slept on a real couch next to a big, snoring dog in a bohemian artist's place :) I learned from him and his friends how to print tshirts they have designed. I have also tried out yoga when my hosts were yoga teachers - amazing experience haha.
Probably the most interesting - i bumped into a french couple when we shared the same host in Florida. Then the next week, in Las Vegas, we shared the same host again! It was absolutely crazy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran for the Block Manager role in my hall of residence (sort of a leader of a dorm community) with my friends in a crazily competitive election, and we went all out to offer "free hugs" to each and everyone in the residence, going doorknocking till 2am straight for a week! The intensive experience was sometimes depressing and exhausting, yet eventually fulfilling and inspiring.
