About Me
Hello. I've traveled rough, and have traveled neat. I hosted when I lived in Phoenix and it was a real heartful experience. Hell, it's good to get out, to get away. Portland is my new base of operations now. A beautiful city crawling with beautiful characters. I travel in my mini van when and I typically take breaks that are 3 months long. Last year, before I had a van, I had station wagon. And I slept in that wagon for 3 months, half of that time was spent in San Francisco. It was hard and it hurt my neck. My van has more room and so the neck issue isn't as bad, but a couch and the opportunity to connect and share with locals is my main motivation for travel. I've hosted before once or twice but I'm new to being hosted. I'm a character through and you'll easily read that the moment you meat me. But I'm house-broken (I have my own apartment in Portland) and I follow all the golden, silver and platinum rules of human decency. Not to mention, I've got some good stories from life on the road. And of course some skills. I'm real handy and happy to lend a both hands to any projects. I'm also a mechanic.
