CURRENT MISSION

To have a positive interest in others. But I regard the word mission as another word for narrowing the perspective of opportunity, which is an unusually complicated way of saying that I am open to virtually everything. Be kind to all beings and help foster a sustainable and plant-based world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a master of science in Digital Design with a focus on human centric design in intelligent environments and smart homes (an interdisciplinary area involving coding, artificial life, a range of technologies and, of course, architecture) and have a background in philosophy, user psychology and HCI. Before coming to Amsterdam, I used to work as a user researcher at the adaptive futures lab in Copenhagen at the ITU. But hopefully no one is the sum of their educations, jobs and what else might exist on the surface. I hope the above doesn't make me sound too serious. :)

tea (asian oriented), philosophy, german/scandinavian/russian film, design (analog and digital), performance, veganism, basketball (sports for the tall children, yay), digital arts-coding, embodied technics, poetry, fabrics, fashion, adaptive architecture, artificial intelligence, litterature of many sorts, red wine.. and so on and so on. In general I have a great love for litterature. Of the recent things I've read I would recommend Lispectors 'Agua Viva' And Laszlo Krasznahorkai's "Melancholy of resistance".

Music: Synths, most things "Post", classical (one day I'll be able to play liebestraum!), icelandic, David Bowie and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sometimes get overwhelmed by the fact that I inhabit the same planet as people who have produced things thousands of years ago that still fills me with joy. Or the richness of the deep sea. I guess what I am trying to say is that I think many things are truly amazing in this world, it doesn't take much for me to be filled with such emotions. I know this questions begs for some sort of pedestal but I don't think I am capable of that.
